Quickstart
Run OneDrop locally with Docker, log in as the dev user, and build your first app.

composer install
npm install
cp .env.example .env
php artisan key:generate
php artisan migrate --seed
This creates a local SQLite database and a login you can use right away.
php artisan sandbox:build-image
Every project runs in a container made from this image. The first build takes a few minutes.
composer run dev
This starts the web server, the queue worker that runs sandboxes and agents, the log viewer, and Vite.
Open http://localhost:8000 and log in with:
| Password | |
|---|---|
dev@example.com | password |
After logging in you’re asked to connect an AI. Then describe an app and OneDrop builds it.
To skip AI setup every time you reset the database, set
DEV_CLAUDE_CREDENTIAL in .env to an Anthropic API key before seeding.
php artisan migrate:fresh --seed
This deletes all local data and recreates the dev user. It does not remove project containers; see Sandboxes.
