Every project gets an icon. It’s your app’s favicon, the one browsers show in tabs and bookmarks, and it also appears on the project’s tile in your sidebar, so you can spot projects at a glance.
After each agent run, OneDrop checks the app for a favicon (such as public/favicon.svg, public/favicon.png or public/favicon.ico) and shows the newest one in the sidebar.
If the app has no favicon of its own, the project’s AI draws one: a simple symbol for what the app does, on a colored rounded square. It’s saved in your app as public/favicon.svg, so the published app uses it too. An empty favicon or the Laravel logo from the starter kit doesn’t count as the app’s own.
Drawing an icon needs the sandbox to be running and an AI connected with an API key or ChatGPT sign-in. Until the project has an icon, its tile shows the project’s first letter.
Tools → App Icon shows the current icon. From there you can:
public/favicon.svg.You can also ask in the chat. Paste or attach an image and say “make this the favicon”. The agent saves it in the app, and the sidebar picks it up when the agent finishes.
Icons the AI draws and SVGs you upload are cleaned before they’re saved: scripts, event handlers, styles and links to other sites are removed. OneDrop serves icons so they can’t run anything, even when they come from the app’s own files.
